LOL re: Peter Attia's book. I'm quite certain I would have had the same reaction as you.

Glad I could help you save twelve bucks

🤣 Yes, thanks for that!

Loved the YouTube clip. Have you read The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell? Lots on the Dunbar Effect there.

I did! I’ve read everything Gladwell (I think). Probably why that was in my brain in the first place.

I’ve only walked away from one book in my life: “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance” - absolutely unreadable!

Ha! Give it another try Bill, it’s liberating!!!

Ugh, I feel you on the book thing. I was just thinking this morning about how a lot of non-fiction/self-help books have precisely ONE message or tip and they take 300 pages to say it over and over in different ways. What a waste.

Exactly. I’m kinda ashamed of myself that I fell for another one.

Omg laughing over here. I got conned into reading that book too. And it was a WOT!!

Henny Hiemenz's avatar

Ok I’ll bite: what in the world is a WOT??

Waste of time

Henny Hiemenz's avatar

Ha, can’t believe I didn’t know that

Moorea Maguire's avatar

Hahaha. I believe you, sounds like it.

Ha. Good for you! Life’s too short to waste time reading drivel.

Yes! Maybe it’s too much time in a classroom, and not enough in the real world
