I loved reading this- what a funny and heartwarming story. That’s so amazing that you’re able to do this with your dad. Also, 100% agree, that portrait is the Arnold is mesmerizing.
Henny, I LOVE this! So glad you made it to the beautiful PNW. If you looked out across the water from the Mariners stadium you could see my neighborhood! What a cool idea to visit all the stadiums!
Awesome! Didn’t realize that’s where you were from. Seattle was my dad’s favorite of the trip, and one of his tops all time. The vibe in that stadium was really neat.
Awesome trip, I’m jealous. Loving the Meleak > Waymos message there too. Even if you get a quiet driver, the chances of avoiding Molotov cocktails goes up considerably by riding with a human driver. 2025 summer safety tips.
When my dad turned 75, my brothers and I took him to Fenway with one of his buddies. Turned out to be the last time. So glad we did it. Your trip sounds awesome! Hope to do it with my sons. Oh and the song is “Funniculi, Funnicula.”
Oh you should totally do it with your boys if possible, it’s been a wonderful experience. (Fenway was awesome)
I’ll give you 3/4 credit on the song. Technically you are right, but a particular character (and Elaine) sang it in a Seinfeld episode. Was looking for that character (don’t think I explicitly said that).
What an exciting trip. You're lucky to be able to do a trip like that with your dad. Pretty cool that shoutout on the screen!
Thanks William! Yeah, these trips have become something we both really look forward to.

It’s almost like he’s a movie star or something 🤣
Sounds like a nice trip, Henny. At least there was no Kiss-Cam focused on you. . .small favors.
Ha! They would have zero chance of getting me to smooch my pops 🤣

I love Michael Lewis! If you haven't read it, "Liar's Poker" is really good too. I think that was his first book.
Loved that one too! I think at this point the only one of his I haven’t read was the recent one about that crypto guy.

100% on the Guardians, not sure if I hate the name or their logo more - horrendous 👼
They paid somebody big bucks for that trash
An inmate from Alcatraz? I’m going to hire you to plan my next vacation!
I wish I could take credit for that, running into him was dumb luck.

Ha! We did see several Teslas whose paint jobs had been downgraded with spray paint.
Love all the Philly references…and especially the fan gram!!!!
Go Birds whenever possible!!!

You just missed us by 2 weeks. We lived half hour south of Seattle.
What a special trip with dad.
Forgot about that. How long were you guys in Seattle again?
We were there for 10 years. Miss our community.
